JAMIE CORDELL BMus (Hons), PGDip
Co-principal
Jamie began his musical training as a junior exhibitioner at Trinity College of Music, London. While there he sang in many of London's concert venues, including St John's Smith Square and the Queen Elizabeth Hall. He subsequently studied both as an undergraduate and postgraduate at the University of Surrey, specialising in performance and conducting.
Jamie combines his teaching and directing work at DAPA with a busy freelance conducting, and performing career. Show work includes Godspell, Oklahoma, Oliver!, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables, West Side Story and Sweet Charity.
GAIL LOWE BA (Hons), MA, LUKA
Co-principal
Gail obtained an honours degree in Drama and Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway College, London University and later went on to take an MA in Choreography at Middlesex University. She has been involved in theatre and performing arts all her life and is also a professional video and multimedia producer/director. Gail has produced and directed many theatre productions and has also worked for the National Trust, running dance workshops for schools. Other work includes theatre-in-education projects as a professional actor/dancer.
Gail is a qualified dance teacher with the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing (UKA) and has competed at national level in ballroom and Latin and as part of a successful Latin Formation Team.
Lucy Baldock AISTD, ARAD, AIDTA
Dance Teacher- Tap, Ballet, Street Dance, Stage Dance, Uni-Ted
Lucy trained at the Hylton Bromley School of Dance & Drama. She has performeed in many West End prductions and UK tours including Cats, West Side Story, The Talk of London and Underneath The Arches. She has also worked extensively abroad as a choreographer and producer.
T.V. work includes shows with Micheal Barrymore, My Kind of Music, CITV Summer Specials and numerous commercials.
Lucy now spends the majority of her time teaching tap and ballet.
Sharron Galbraith AIDTA
Dance Teacher - Stage, Jazz, Street Dance
Sharron trained at Bodyworks Dance Studio in Cambridge, and then went on to train at the London Studio Centre, covering all aspects of Musical Theatre and dance. On leaving she has had a very successful career as a choreographer and dancer. Sharron's real passion though is teaching, which she now takes up the majority of her time.
Caroline Haines BA(Hons)
Drama Teacher - Horsham
Caroline started her training with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and since graduating from Exeter University with a first class degree in English, has worked as a professional actress, working in both theatre and film. In addition to developing her acting career, Caroline has taught at Hurtwood House School in Holmbury St Mary (where she was also a student) and also toured the UK last year running workshops in schools on Shakespeare’s plays. She also maintains regular contact with the National Youth Theatre and has worked with them as a mentor during their intake audition process, and also as an assistant director.

Karen Ward IDTA
Dance Teacher- Tap, Ballet
Karen has been dancing since the age of 3 and teaching since she was 18! She is also an experienced performer and choreographer working with numerous theatre groups and societys in the South of England
Mark Willment
Singing Teacher, Musical Theatre
Mark is an experienced Musical Director and Composer working extensively at theatres throughout Kent, Sussex & Surrey. In 2004 he was commisioned to compose and direct "Giant Symphony" for Mid Sussex County Council at Wakehurst Place. He is a sucessful singing teacher with pupils being accepted into The Royal Academy of Music and the London cast of Les Miserables

Helen Cox SRN (Peadiatrics)
Reception - Horsham School
Helen has worked with children all of her adult life, both in the UK and abroad. She is a trained nurse specialising in Peadiatrics, and has qualifications in teaching, child care and child protection.
