Course Description:
Stage dance is an excellent way to gain a thorough knowledge of the dance styles used in modern musical theatre. It encompasses a range of exercises and techniques to prepare the body for dance and to ensure safe but creative movement. It is based on jazz as well as cabaret and modern dance, and students will also learn the basic skills needed for theatre work and for auditions. Medal tests and exams can be taken in stage dance.
