Course Description:
This class leads to a recognised qualification in dance and is taken over one academic year. The course is part practical and part written/theoretical, so students will develop an understanding of the principals of choreography and dance analysis as well as performance. The theory of dance studies is undertaken as a separate class from the practical sessions. Students enrolling for this course must also take a contemporary dance class in which the practical elements will be covered.
